Val di Mazia

The Ötztal Alps are a mountain range in the Central Eastern Alps, in the State of Tyrol in southern Austria and the Province of South Tyrol in northern Italy. Into the heart of the Italian part of Ötztal Alps is located the Val di Mazia. The beautiful valley of the Saldur river is located north from Solderno. The Val di Mazia stretches up to the Palla Bianca (3,700 m asl), and the upper part is characterised by charming Alpine pastures. The several hiking routes and Alpine trails stretch in the surroundings and provide hiking destinations in all difficulty levels.
