The Bay of Puck, is the western branch of the Bay of Gdańsk in the southern Baltic Sea, off the shores of Gdańsk Pomerania, Poland. It is separated from the open sea by the Hel Peninsula. The bay Bay covers an area of approx. 40.000 ha and is very shallow; it has an average depth of 2 m to 6 m. There is a shallow sand-bank from Rewa to Kuźnica in the middle of Hel Peninsula, that's why the bay is available only for small boats and yachts. There are contains a variety of shore types - sandy beaches, gravel beds, stony outcrops, clay cliffs, vegetated river mouths etc. The bay is protected as marine part of Seaside Lanscape Park. The Bay is situated nearby the major harbour city of Gdynia and very popular tourist resort of central Polish coast. The main ports are Puck, Jastarnia, and Hel.

Dalmatia is a historical region of Croatia. It is a narrow belt of the east shore of the Adriatic Sea. It stretches from the town of Zadar in the north to the Bay of Kotor on the border with Montenegro in the south. The shore is the most indented coastline in the Mediterranean. The majority of the coast is characterised by a karst topography. The coast line features long offshore islands and coastal inlets that are parallel to the coastline. The sea floods elongated valleys, and as a result many bays and peninsulas take on a hammer-like form.  The long, rugged Dalmatian coast, backed by high mountains with hundreds of offshore islands, is becoming Europe's very popular vacation spot.

The Black Sea was first named by the ancient Greeks who called it "Inhospitable Sea." The sea got this reputation because it was difficult to navigate, and hostile tribes inhabited its shores. There are a number of hypotheses for why it was eventually called the Black Sea. One hypothesis is that in ancient time, various colours were assigned to different directions; black for north, red for south, yellow for east and white for the west. As it was located in the north of the Mediterranean Sea for which the ancients believed to be situated in the middle of the earth. So it was called the Black Sea meaning a sea in the north.  Another theory associated the name with of the chemical properties of water. The Black Sea's deep waters are much less saline, as a result the microalgae concentration is much richer, causing the colour to become darker. Makarska Riviera is a part of Dalmatian coast of Adriatic, about 60 kilometers long and only several kilometers wide, squeezed under towering mountain Biokovo. Small city of Podgora offers a breathtaking magnificent view of riviera, the mountains, and the islands Brac and Hvar. 

Podgora is an excellent place for the holiday. Beautiful landscape, the azure sky and the limpid sea make Podgora the pearl of the Adriatic. The Sunny climate and long pebbly beaches make this region a popular tourist destination. You can spend your holiday during the whole year, because the climate is mild, and the sea is pleasant for swimming from May until October. 

Podgora is tourist village situated in the heart of Dalmatia, on the Makarska Riviera in Croatia. It was first mentioned in 1571 in written records. In the 60's and 70's, Podgora became one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Dalmatia. In the village and in the surrounding is a large vegetation and on the coast are beautiful beaches with crystal clear water. Podgora is also an ideal place for photographers. Scotland's coasts and seas are beautiful and very varied. There are the rocky shores in the west coastline (see also: Most beautiful coastline in the world ). There are several cliff-top blow-holes. The coast has a complex geology, and the sea has exploited the softer rocks and lines of weakness to produce a spectacularly varied landscape. Structural features of sea cliffs include not only the expected caves and overhangs, but also spectacular natural arches and bridges, and even flying buttresses. The Scottish coast is thousands of miles long and is probably most varied in the world. The shoreline is filled with incredible wildlife, and offers breathtaking views. In my opinion Scotland has the most beautiful coastline in the world ABC Wednesday

Piran is a small and very picturesque town is located in Slovenia on the Gulf of Piran on the Adriatic Sea. The name of the town most probably originates from the Greek "pyrranos", which means "red", because of the reddish flysch stones commonly found in the town's area. Of the competing theories, is that it is derived from "pyr", the Greek word for "fire", because the peninsula was originally used primarily as a grounds for lighting fires to guide ships to the nearby settlement of Aegida. The city has a very rich and turbulent history. The area of present-day Piran was settled by Illyrian tribes who were farmers, hunters and fishermen. In the next centuries the Piran peninsula was a part of Roman Empire, Byzantium Empire, Holy Roman Empire, Venetian Republic, French Empire, and Austro-Hungarian Empire. The Isle of Skye is the largest island of the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. It is famous for its scenery and landscapes that will take your breath away. The coastline of Skye is a series of peninsulas and bays radiating out from a centre dominated by the Cuillin hills. The Black Cuillin is some of the most dramatic and challenging mountain terrain in Scotland. Waterfalls, mountains, glens..., the diversity of the landscape is matched by the diversity of weather. The Island is also great destination for Wildlife watching. The Island of Skye is an incredibly beautiful part of the world and one of the top locations in Scotland to visit. 

Zadar is located in Croatia on the Adriatic Sea. Historically it was the centre of Dalmatia  Zadar is old, beautiful and hip. Many tourists are visiting Zadar to enjoy unforgettable sunsets with a view of nearby islands. The sunsets are actually stunning! The loveliest inscription of Zadar´s exceptional sunset was written by the Alfred Hitchcock. While a guest of room 204 of the former Hotel Zagreb, the famed director is quoted as saying: "Zadar has the most beautiful sunset in the world, more beautiful than the one in Key West, in Florida, applauded at every evening."
