Summer in Poland

The climate in Poland is determined mainly by the country's geographical location and geography. Poland is in the temperate latitudes, where maritime air from the North Atlantic and continental air from the east converge, causing frequent day-to-day and year-to-year variability in the weather patterns.
The long-awaited summer begins in June and is about three months long. Summer in Poland is predominantly warm with plenty of sunshine interlaced with heavy rains. Traditionally the start of summer is associated with St. John’s Eve, the Polish equivilant of Midsummer. This day is marked by numerous traditions steeped in Slavic customs.
Summer’s here, so it’s the right time to go outside!
