Zamość - the city of arcades

Zamość is a unique example of a Renaissance town in Central Europe. The Large Market in Zamość dates back to 16th century and is one of the most wonderful European squares. The town hall is surrounded by numerous picturesque, unusually colourful tenements, decorated arcades thanks to which Zamość is also known as a town of arcades. These are exactly the tenements, which have their own names, stories and peculiar climate that characterize the town. Old Town in Zamość was voted one of of the seven cultural wonders located in Poland (The Seven Wonders of Poland). Zamość is one of the must-see cities being in Poland!
