Citrus fruits

The biggest attractions at this time of the year in the Warsaw area are the Botanical Gardens of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Powsin on the southern outskirts of Warsaw. Visitors to the gardens can see exotic plants. Among them are tropical economic plants like Citrus taxa, Arabian coffee or Chinese tee. The greenhouse complex with collections of citrus fruit is open for visitors.

  1. Those are gorgeous photos! We have a couple of citrus trees in our yard - a lemon tree that fruited for the first time this year (we've been there 3 years...didn't realize what kind of tree it was) and a satsuma tree. Satsumas are like tangerines, I guess - small and very sweet.

    Great photos!

  3. What lovely shots of the fruit. It seems that lemon trees grow quite well here in New Zealand, too, as many homes have them in the garden.
