King's Palace and Garden in Wilanów. Magical Winter Lights

Wilanów garden and palace complex was erected in 17th century as a summer residence of Jan III Sobieski (King of Poland). A visit to Wilanów provides an opportunity to experience the core of Polish tradition and history. King's Palace in Wilanów and its beautiful garden does not fall asleep  in the winter.

On some winter evenings, the façade of the Wilanów Palace becomes a place of 3D mappings. It is a three-dimensional show combines light, image and sound. Mapping is displayed on the facade of the palace of Wilanow and uses his architectural elements to create the illusion of an animated building. During mappingów the King Jan III Sobieski and the Queen Mary  appearing at the windows of the palace. The viewers are witness of arrival of the king to the Palace and a court dance show.

In the Wilanów garden is located an extraordinary light installation. While walking along the illuminated alleys of the King's Magic Garden, you will to admire a variety of plant and animal species that used to inhabit King Jan III's garden.

The Garden of Imagination is an installation comprising 300,000 colourful diodes that brighten up in the winter the Baroque garden surrounding Wilanów Palace. The lights are harmoniously blended with music and illuminate to the theme of "Waltz of the Flowers" from "The Nutcracker" by Piotr Tchaikovsky, "Masquerade Waltz" by Aram Khachaturian and "Morning" by Edvard Grieg.
