Cetina River Valley

Cetina is a beautiful river in southern Croatia. The source of the Cetina is a karst spring located on the northwestern slopes of Dinara near a small village called Cetina. It flows a distance of 105 km through rocky, karst terrain to the Adriatic Sea. In the upper part of basin river is mostly fast with plenty of white water rapids and lies in deep ravines. In the lower regions, the river is much slower, with the canyon walls being wider, occasionally punctuated by flatter areas.
Cetina is a most water-rich river in Dalmatia and it is one of the most beautiful places in Croatia for canyoning, freshwater kayaking and rafting.
